A patient and owner present at one of the three veterinarians affiliated with the Ohio Pet Charities Furry Friends Fund. 

• Faithful Friends Veterinary Clinic

• COVE (Central Ohio Veterinary Clinic)

• Delaware Northwest Veterinary Clinic)

• Flint Road Animal Hospital

The veterinarian and team determine if the patient is a good candidate and present OPC with a write up of the medical observations and cost estimates for the treatment.

The owner is expected to pay half of the estimated treatment.

The documents are sent to the OPC board for approval or denial of the funds.

If approval occurs, OPC works with the veterinarian to obtain a signed contract from the owner and veterinarian that releases OPC of liability for the treatment and OPC will spotlight the treatment along with pictures of the pet, treatment and outcome of the case on the OPC blog and social media accounts.
