This year, we’ll be at the beautiful OSU Longaberger Alumni House, located at 2200 Olentangy River Road. This special evening will feature great food and beverages, a Silent Auction, exciting raffles, and lots more,
all to benefit OPC’s Furry Friends Fund which provides lifesaving veterinary care for qualifying pet owners who need financial assistance. Your support helps us create brighter futures for pets and strengthen animal welfare efforts throughout our community. Get your tickets here.

VOLUNTEER SPOTLIGHT
Jamie Luemen Rhoads
Board Member at Large & Volunteer Coordinator

Jamie has always believed in the power of positivity, compassion, and connection to create meaningful change. With a natural ability to bring joy to others and a willingness to jump in wherever help is needed, Jamie is passionate about supporting both people and animals in her community. Her belief in the deep emotional bond between humans and animals aligns strongly with the mission of Ohio Pet Charities.
Professionally, Jamie serves as a supervisor for an Ohio State University urgent care, where she brings strong leadership, organization, and a people-first mindset to her work. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Theatre and a Master’s degree in Health Administration, combining creativity with a strong foundation in healthcare operations and service. As Volunteer Coordinator, Jamie channels these skills into building connections, organizing efforts, and ensuring volunteers feel supported and valued.
Originally from Chicago, Jamie has called the Columbus area home for the past 15 years. Outside of work and volunteer efforts, Jamie enjoys reading, collecting rocks, minerals, and fossils, and spending time with her husband, 2 children, and granddaughter. Known for her humor and lighthearted nature, Jamie takes pride in making others laugh, even if it means making a fool of herself. At home, she is a devoted pet parent to two beloved cats, Bena and Alfred.
